Ask any clinic you shortlist for both documents by name — an authorised practice will produce them without hesitation, usually within a day.

Cross-check what you receive: the clinic’s registered trading name should match the name on the certificate, and the responsible clinician should be registered with the Turkish Dental Association. If a clinic answers a licence question with a brochure of before-and-after photographs, treat that as your answer.

How many visits will your treatment actually need?

Be sceptical of any plan that compresses biology. Implants normally need two visits: placement, then three to six months of healing before the final teeth are fitted. Veneers and crowns can complete in one visit of five to seven days. All-on-4 typically means a fitted provisional bridge on the first trip and the definitive bridge on a second.

Clinics that promise a full mouth of final teeth in a handful of days are optimising for your flight dates, not your bone healing. When comparing quotes, compare the number of visits as carefully as the price — a cheaper single-visit plan can be the most expensive decision you make.

What should a written quote from a Turkish clinic include?

A professional quote is itemised and fixed. It should name the treatment per tooth or per arch, the implant or material brand, the number of visits, what the price includes (consultation, imaging, temporary restorations, medication, transfers, accommodation) and — just as importantly — what it excludes.

Insist on the quote in pounds or euros with a validity date, and keep the email trail.
