Every legitimate dental clinic in Turkey operates under a licence from the Turkish Ministry of Health, and clinics treating overseas patients should additionally hold the Ministry’s International Health Tourism authorisation certificate. Ask any clinic you shortlist for both documents by name — an authorised practice will produce them without hesitation, usually within a day.

Cross-check what you receive: the clinic’s registered trading name should match the name on the certificate, and the responsible clinician should be registered with the Turkish Dental Association. If a clinic answers a licence question with a brochure of before-and-after photographs, treat that as your answer.
